By installing, purchasing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What ToolMagic Provides

ToolMagic provides browser extensions that help you export, back up, and organize social media data that is available to you through your browser session or through public platform pages. The Service is intended for lawful backup, export, analytics, personal productivity, and research workflows.

ToolMagic does not own or operate X/Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, or any other third-party social platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those platforms.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use the Service and any data you export. You agree that you will:

  • use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws;
  • export only data you are permitted to access, export, store, or process;
  • respect the terms, policies, rate limits, and technical restrictions of third-party platforms;
  • handle exported files responsibly, especially if they include personal data, contact information, comments, or account identifiers;
  • obtain any notices, consents, or permissions required for your use case.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • violate any law, regulation, third-party right, or platform rule;
  • access, export, sell, or share data you are not authorized to use;
  • harass, spam, surveil, profile, or target people in an unlawful or abusive manner;
  • bypass access controls, authentication, paywalls, rate limits, security measures, or technical restrictions;
  • reverse engineer, modify, resell, sublicense, or copy the Service except as permitted by law;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or overload ToolMagic, third-party platforms, or other services.

Accounts, Purchases, and Access

Some ToolMagic extensions or features may require payment, license activation, or account access. You agree to provide accurate purchase and contact information and to keep any account or license credentials secure. You may not share, transfer, or resell paid access unless we expressly allow it.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Your payment provider may have separate terms and privacy practices.

Refund Policy

ToolMagic offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on eligible paid purchases. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order details. Refunds may not apply to misuse, policy violations, or requests submitted outside the refund window. You can also review our standalone Refund Policy.

Third-Party Platforms and Services

The Service may interact with websites, browser APIs, extension stores, payment providers, analytics providers, or social media platforms that we do not control. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites, platform changes, outages, restrictions, account actions, data accuracy, or availability.

Third-party platforms may change their pages, APIs, security systems, or policies at any time. Those changes may affect whether an extension works as expected. We may update, discontinue, or modify extensions in response to those changes.

Exported Data

Exported files are generated for your use. You are responsible for reviewing the accuracy of exported data and deciding how to store, secure, use, delete, or share it. ToolMagic is not a system of record, legal compliance service, data broker, or substitute for your own review of applicable obligations.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information when you interact with our websites, extensions, support, and related services.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including our extensions, websites, logos, designs, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by ToolMagic or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Feedback

If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

Changes to the Service or Terms

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND RELIABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY PLATFORM CHANGE, BROWSER VERSION, OR WEBSITE UPDATE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOOLMAGIC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST BUSINESS, PLATFORM ACCOUNT ACTIONS, OR COSTS OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TOOLMAGIC FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold ToolMagic harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, exported data, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or violation of third-party rights or platform rules.
